[World IT Show 2012] Samsung Electronics to show premium monitor ‘SB-970’ for professional photographer.

Samsung Electronics co participated in ‘2012 World IT SHOW’ from May 15(Tue) to 18(Fri) in KOEX, Seoul and introduced premium monitor ‘SB-970’ for professional photographer to expresses the highest color expression quality.

SB-970 is a 27 inch monitor which uses PLS panel and it adopts one level higher grade panel which is better than competitor’s and their existing IPS panel.

PLS has an advantage of higher penetration ratio, wider viewing angle and energy saving capabilities, compared with IPS panel. Technically, it adopts calibration technology in the monitor and adopts WQHD(2560×1440) which transcends FULL HD class resolution, which brings much higher resolution, detailed expressions and display expression capabilities.

It supports DVI, HDMI and display ports and adopts touch sensor OSD and it is expected to be released at the second half this year.

‘WIS 2012′ which has the slogan of ‘Beyond IT’ is a national biggest high-tech IT exhibition exhibiting and introducing various technologies and equipment including mobile, communication, broadcasting related technologies, cloud computing, smart work, software, digital contents, IT convergence, industrial electronic equipment and others.
