4. SNEC PV POWER (Shanghai) EXPO 2012

SNEC 5th (2011) International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference & Exhibition [SNEC (2011) PV POWER EXPO], which was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China and jointly organized by 15 international associations and organizations, came to a successful end on February 24, 2011. Photovoltaic companies from 90 countries and regions such as Germany, UK, France, USA, Canada, Japan, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Singapore, South Korea, Russia, India, Taiwan, etc. gathered in Shanghai for this grand occasion. 1,838 exhibitors, 150,000 sq. meter exhibition space and over 180,000 visitor attendances have made SNEC (2011) PV POWER EXPO once again break the record of PV exhibitions previously held in Asia.

5. SWEET 2012 (Solar, Wind, Earth, and Energy TradeFair)

SWEET , the first Exhibition achieved ‘UFI Approved Event’ from Global Association of the Exhibition Industry in Korea New & Renewable Energy Exhibitions in  July, 2008, is held on April 24th-26th, 2012 at Kimdae jung Convention Center.

The 7th Solar, Wind & Earth Energy Trade Fair 2012 has become a prestigious international event on New & Renewable Energy field and a business opportunity to offer useful information to entrepreneurs and professionals. Especially, Jeollanam-do province is located in southern area where there is little change of the weather and the amount of sunlight is the highest in Korea. The yellow sea geographically consists of a rias coast with high tidal range. There are many good places for tidal generation such as Hoinggansudo. In addition, Jeollanam-do province has been given a suitable place for wind power using seaward wind around 2,000 islands.
